High winds hamper Wednesday practice at Indy

One hour into Wednesday's Indy 500 practice session, the numbers on the timing screens were decidedly odd. Only 10 cars had ventured out, not one of those 10 cars had turned more than 10 laps, and the 220 mph threshold had yet to be breached. The reason for the limited amount of cars, laps and speeds were due to exceptionally high winds that made constructive running almost impossible.
