Howard returns to the Indy 500 with SPM and Tony Stewart Foundation

Jay Howard has been confirmed as the driver of the #77 Schmidt Peterson Motorsports entry for this years Indianapolis 500, a drive being sponsored by the Team One Cure programme headed by the Tony Stewart Foundation. For the British racer it is a reuniting with team boss Sam Schmidt, with whom he took the 2006 Indy Lights title, and has one previous Indy 500 start back in 2011 with the same team, although he did fail to qualify for the same race in 2010 whilst with Sarah Fisher Racing.
