INDYCAR: Phillips named AJ Foyt Racing's technical director
Former IndyCar vice president of technology and longtime engineer Will Phillips has been named AJ Foyt Racing's technical director and race engineer for Carlos Munoz's No. 14 ABC Supply Chevrolet. "I'm really looking forward to the 2017 season," AJ Foyt said. "We have two young drivers in Carlos Munoz and Conor Daly, and our new technical director Will Phillips, and we went back home to Chevrolet. I've been fortunate enough to win races with Chevrolet through the years and I just think we're putting a winning team back together. I think you'll see AJ Foyt Racing back in the winning column."
