AJ Foyt Racing confirm switch to Chevrolet
The revamp of AJ Foyt Racing for 2017 will include a switch from Honda to Chevrolet, the team confirmed today. Since Chip Ganassi Racing revealed it would switch from the Ilmor-built engines to HPD supply in 2017, it has been one of IndyCar's worst-kept secrets that Foyt’s team would be going the other way, running Chevrolet units for the first time since 2005. The Texas- and Indiana-based team will also include a thoroughly revised engineering lineup, and a complete driver change, as Carlos Munoz and Conor Daly have replaced Takuma Sato and Jack Hawksworth.
