Montoya stays with Penske for Indy 500

– Juan Pablo Montoya will remain with Penske next season but will compete only at the Indianapolis 500.Montoya raced for Penske in IndyCar between 2014 and 2016 but lost his full-time seat for 2017 to Josef Newgarden, while the outfit elected to retain new champion Simon Pagenaud, Will Power and Hélio Castroneves.Rather than chase a full-time drive at a rival squad, Montoya will remain with Penske for an assault on next year's Indianapolis 500, an event he won in 2000 and 2015."He didn't want to leave the team but wanted to see what else was out there," Penske Team Chairman Tim Cindric is quoted by the official IndyCar website."After giving it some thought, he told me...
