INDYCAR: Sato set for Andretti

Takuma Sato is close to filling the fourth Honda-powered seat vacated by Carlos Munoz at Andretti Autosport.According to a source with knowledge of the negotiations, the 39-year-old Sato will join Ryan Hunter-Reay, Alexander Rossi and Marco Andretti, and will be reunited with former engineer Garrett Mothersead. Although the deal has not been finalized, confirmation is expected to be a formality. A favorite son of the Japanese auto giant, Sato has been tipped by RACER for weeks to join Andretti after losing his drive with AJ Foyt Racing when the Texas-based team switched to Chevy.
