Jack Hawksworth: “I had nowhere to go and got collected”
Jack Hawksworth believed he could have had a better showing had he started the second part of the race at Texas Motor Speedway on the lead lap, but due to being two laps down, it was not to be. The AJ Foyt Racing driver felt he had a decent car beneath him during the restarted race, which was postponed after 71 laps on 12 June due to inclement weather, but due to losing so much time in that first part of the race, it was an almost hopeless task to recover the ground, and ultimately it counted for nothing as he was caught up in a crash with Mikhail Aleshin. 'We had a pretty decent car which was good but started two laps down because of all that happened here last time,” said Hawksworth....
