Heavy rain has forced IndyCar Series organisers to postpone the Texas Motor Speedway round to August after the race was red flagged with less than a third distance completed. Poor weather in the wider area had already forced the Saturday race to be run on Sunday, while the start was pushed back to allow for more drying time from the overnight rains.
