IndyCar: Power tops delayed, damp and short FP2 at NOLA

Reigning Verizon IndyCar Series champion Will Power slithered to the top of the time sheets in a very abbreviated second practice, following showers that washed out most of second practice for the inaugural Grand Prix of NOLA.After some initial exploratory laps from the likes of Marco Andretti and James Jakes, the majority of the session was spent with drivers standing on pitlane as water stood on track. A long red-flag period as track and safety teams worked to dry the course was finally lifted with 10 minutes to go.
