IndyCar 2017: “Our main impetus is engines,” says Honda
Art St. Cyr, Honda Performance Development president, believes IndyCar’s 2017 rules must follow in the best interests of the series, and that all parties must consider whether aerokits have been worth the expense. He told Motorsport.com: “The whole idea of going to aerokits was to raise the profile of the series and the manufacturers within it, and to bring new fans in.
