Dixon Victorious in Phoenix

Scott Dixon took advantage of a pair of tire failures for rivals Helio Castroneves and Juan Pablo Montoya to take thw win at Desert Diamond Valley Grand Prix. He held off late runs by Simon Pagenaud, Will Power, and Tony Kanaan, who closed in as Dixon was stuck behind lapped traffic. Graham Rahal rebounded from his qualifying woes to finish fifth, holding a fast closing Josef Newgarden, who himself rebounded from a bad pit stop and contact with Charlie Kimball.
