Aleshin airlifted to hospital after violent crash

okie Mikhail Aleshin has been airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in California after a violent impact with the track's debris fencing in the final practice for tomorrow's MAVTV 500.Aleshin was conscious when he was extracted from the car following the incident, complaining of pain in his right shoulder and foot.The crash came in the final practice of the weekend – a 30-minute nighttime session after qualifying to simulate race conditions (the race starts on Saturday a little over an hour after the practice session started tonight).  Aleshin had just completed a lap of 215.303mph when he lost control of the car on the inside line.
