On Track This Week - Round 1 - Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

After what seemed like the longest hiatus on record, seriously, 7 months is just too damn long, the track is built, the transporters parked and unloaded, and we are finally kicking off the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Season this weekend in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida for the 13th running of the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Forecast for the weekend is the usual sunny with a chance of torrential rain and race day thunderstorms, keeping us all on our toes. It wouldn't be St.Petes otherwise. The excitement for the upcoming season is palpable throughout the paddock, with teams and drivers chomping at the bit to get their cars on track and get this show on the road.
