INDYCAR: Key players ponder Phoenix package

Key Verizon IndyCar Series players are divided over the rules package for Phoenix, amid fears it could "screw up" its return to the classic oval. IndyCar used the one-mile Arizona track for pre-season testing last week, and will race there for the first time since 2005 next month. Andretti Autosport team owner Michael Andretti believes the test showed more downforce is required to ensure adequate passing. "We're not going to make a good show if we go with the downforce they have currently, so that's why we're pushing for more downforce for the race," he said.
