Helio Castroneves closes out Phoenix IndyCar test on top

Helio Castroneves closed out the two-day IndyCar promoter test at the top of the timesheets as average speeds broke the 190 mph barrier at Phoenix International Raceway. Castroneves led the way on Friday behind the wheel of the #3 Penske as he set a new unofficial lap record at Phoenix, only to go faster still in Saturday evening's session. The Brazilian set a fastest time of 19.2735 seconds at an average of 190.894 mph in the fourth and final practice session, bouncing back from a problem that had limited his running in the afternoon.
