Bourdais back on top, claims pole at Toronto

– Sebastien Bourdais has claimed pole position for this afternoon's first race of the Honda Indy Toronto weekend. After lapping the 1.755mi street course in 58.9479 seconds, the four-time Champ Car World Series champion will start alongside the man who led the points standings up until last weekend at Iowa – Will Power.The pole is the first for the Frenchman in the unified IndyCar Series in 54 starts (in 2007), but he already has 31 open wheel poles to his name from his Champ Car days.Power had pole secured after time expired in the final session of qualifying but was beaten by 0.1546s by Bourdais on his final lap.The pair will start ahead of Helio Castroneves and last week's...
