INDYCAR: Phoenix test Friday notebook

[10:00 a.m. Mountain Time] IndyCar’s #PrixView kicks off today with two three-hour sessions. The first, from 12-3, is expected to be run in temperatures between 80-85 degrees, and the evening session from 5-8 should be slightly cooler. Sunset is due at 6:23, which should make for some nice nighttime photography. The Phoenix race, scheduled for April 2, will take the green flag at approximately 5:30 p.m., making the later test sessions most valuable for dialing in chassis and aero setups.
