Enerson, Urrutia Lead SPM Domination of Indy Lights Phoenix Test

The Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires field took to Phoenix International Raceway 16 strong for the first oval test of the new year. Under sunny desert skies, Schmidt Peterson Motorsports again displayed their blistering pace on ovals, claiming the top three spots on the combined timesheets. RC Enerson, playing the role of lead driver this season for SPM, led the charge as one of two drivers to set a sub-22 second lap at the one-mile oval. Enerson's 21.8721 second lap from the morning session just bested Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires champion Santi Urrutia's quick lap from the afternoon session of 21.9862 seconds.
