Changes to Bump Day, aero, horsepower

– In a push for safety and spectacle, IndyCar has announced several changes for 2016, from increasing push-to-pass horsepower to another restructuring of the lead-up to the Indianapolis 500.After trying several formats for "Bump Day" in the past few years, the 100th running of the Indy 500 will see the provisional field of 33 cars set on the first day of qualifying, before deciding all of the qualifying positions the next day – May 22. Points will be awarded from 42 (for pole), 40 (for second) then down to one for last place.Race day points for the 500 will still be worth double along with the season finale at Sonoma, but to get there, drivers in rookie orientation will...
