GLENDENNING: Why Chevy hopes Rule 9.3 is a one-off

Chevrolet remains optimistic that it can continue the level of performance that earned it a clean sweep of poles and 10 wins from 16 races in the first year of IndyCar aero kit competition, despite rival Honda being granted concessions to make parity-based improvements. The Bowtie dominated the stat books during the 2015 season, although it faced increasing competition from Honda late in the season as Honda's teams gradually got on terms with their aero package. Mark Kent (RIGHT), director of GM Racing, says that the first year of aero competition largely delivered on Chevrolet's hopes for performance and visual differentiation, although he admits that the additional development freedoms...
