IndyCar: St Petersburg deal extended
The door has been opened for St Petersburg to remain on the IndyCar calendar until at least 2020 after promoter Green Savoree received an extension of its license from the St Petersburg City Council on Thursday. Under the amendment, the dates for IndyCar's next three visits to the Florida street circuit have also been confirmed. The race will be held on March 11-13 in 2016, March 9-12 in 2017, and March 8-11 in 2018.
