Great names combine as Brabham tests Andretti IndyCar

Matt Brabham got his first taste of an IndyCar yesterday when he tested an Andretti Autosport machine at the Lucas Oil Raceway near Indianapolis. Brabham drove Ryan Hunter-Reay’s DHL car on a filming day for the squad, and enjoyed his step up from his regular ride with the Andretti squad in Indy Lights. “It was a fantastic day as I can finally say I've driven an IndyCar,” said Brabham. “Even though it was just for commercial filming purposes, it just made me really want to race one even more. “The IndyCar felt like it had a lot more downforce than any other car I have driven, and to drive one on the limit must be awesome.” Brabham, 21, drove the car on Thursday, which would have...
