Newgarden wins first pole at Milwaukee

– CFH Racing driver Josef Newgarden secured his first career IndyCar pole position at Milwaukee (170.223mph), continuing his trend of topping sessions this weekend.  Newgarden's run came midway through qualifying and set a high benchmark for the field to chase, but only Ryan Briscoe could come close, just 0.2mph behind the American.The top two were the only drivers to break 170mph around the historic track; however, the field is anything but spread.  In second practice, also led by Newgarden, the top 20 cars were separated by less than half a second with a relatively even mixture of Chevrolet and Honda engines.Rookie Sage Karam slotted into third position late in the order, beating...
