Foyt rises as the strongest Honda team in St. Pete

Takuma Sato was the only Honda driver to make the Fast 6. St. Petersburg, Fla - A.J. Foyt Enterprises expanded to a two-car effort for the first time since 2002 after signing Jack Hawksworth to partner 2013 Long Beach Grand Prix winner Takuma Sato. The move seems to have paid off for the team as they have been the fastest Honda team in the Verizon IndyCar Series 2015 season opener on the Streets of St. Petersburg. In the first practice session of the weekend, Hawksworth was the sixth fastest car and the leading Honda after five Chevrolets.
