RACER: Robin Miller on keeping IndyCar at Fontana
The second leg of IndyCar's Triple Crown is set for June 27 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., and its less-than-an-ideal date or time (1:30 p.m.) but track president Dave Allen has pulled out all the stops to try and draw a Saturday crowd to the MAVTV 500. Besides a $40 general admission ticket and $25 for a garage/pit pass, Allen is giving Triple A members a $10 discount on any reserved seat and $5 off for qualifying on Friday.
