SHORTS The big buzz in the paddock upon arrival Thursday morning was the serious shortage of aero kit parts. By Friday, the buzz had become much louder as teams were forced to call for a bit of restraint during the morning practice session to ensure their drivers didn't damage the precious Chevy and Honda aero kit parts on hand. Rain in the afternoon session led to every team skipping the practice time to protect their kits from meeting the cement barriers that line the slippery street course.
