Dixon secures pole for Indy 500

– Just five cars into qualifying, Scott Dixon set a solid four-lap speed early in Saturday's truncated qualifying, and no one was able to better him.  After weathering attempts from 29 other cars, the Kiwi will start P1 for next week's Indianapolis 500—the 22nd pole of his career, which elevates him to 13th on the all-time IndyCar pole list.Penske's Will Power and Simon Pagenaud will occupy the outside slots of the first row for the 99th running of IndyCar's biggest race, but neither were able to come closer than half a mile per hour to Dixon's average of 226.760mph.The polesitter and winner of the 2008 race, the veteran Target Chip Ganassi driver also has two runners-up finishes...
