Sam Schmidt: #6 car remains open for Robert Wickens

The #6 Arrow McLaren Racing SP car will remain available for Robert Wickens to join should he return to full fitness according to co-team owner Sam Schmidt. After a horrific crash during the opening laps of the 2018 ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway, Wickens was left with a long list of injuries, the most severe of which left him partially paralysed. Despite not being able to currently drive an IndyCar, Wickens remains part of the team's driver line-up with the #6 being kept open for him.
