Conor Daly replaces Max Chilton for ovals as Carlin driver backs out

Conor Daly will join Carlin in place of Max Chilton for the remaining oval races of the 2019 NTT IndyCar season with immediate effect after British driver decided to back out. Daly, who will link back up with the British outfit after last racing for them in the 2011 GP3 season, will race the #59 Gallagher-Chevrolet with immediate effect at the next event on the calendar, the DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway, and the subsequent ovals at Iowa, Pocono and Gateway.
