LED panels make a return to IndyCar for 2019

The NTT IndyCar season will see the return of the LED panels on the side of the cars for the 2019 season. Early in the 2018 season, the panels had been removed from all of the cars in the early part of the season after the Grand Prix of Alabama, this was due to performance inconsistencies. With a new supplier, MoTeC onboard utilising modified technology used on the cars in the IMSA series, the LED panels will remain on the roll hoops on the Dallara DW12 chassis. The panels have been trialled during pre-season testing and will be fixed onto the cars in preparation for the opening round in St.Petersburg on March 10.
