Chevrolet says Power’s win validates efforts on fuel consumption

Chevrolet’s IndyCar program manager Rob Buckner says that Will Power’s victory on the IMS road course had helped prove Chevrolet’s progress in improving its fuel mileage. At the start of this season, two Chevy drivers and one Honda driver had told Motorsport.com that one of HPD’s main weapons this season was superior fuel mileage.
