IndyCar's universal body kit deliveries under way
The first batch of UAK18 universal aero kits have been delivered to Verizon IndyCar Series teams by Dallara. As of Monday, Nov. 27, each of IndyCar's eight full-time teams have one UAK18 in their possession, and the full complement of kits needed to outfit the field for the season opener at St. Petersburg is expected to land by Dec. 11. From IndyCar's pool of entrants who completed the 2017 championship, teams like Chip Ganassi Racing, Ed Carpenter Racing, Schmidt Peterson Motorsport and Team Penske are among those who've already converted one chassis to UAK18 specifications and conducted testing on behalf of Chevy or Honda.
