Ed Jones secures switch to Ganassi for 2018

Chip Ganassi Racing has confirmed that Ed Jones will partner Scott Dixon at the downsized team in 2018. Jones made his IndyCar debut with Dale Coyne in 2017 and placed third at the Indianapolis 500, en route to receiving the Rookie of the Year honours. Jones had been tipped to remain at Coyne, but has instead captured the vacant No. 10 seat at Ganassi, in the reduced two-car team. 'This is truly an honour to have the opportunity to drive for Chip, his organisation and to represent NTT DATA,' said Jones, 22.
