Penske confirms Castroneves IMSA switch

– Penske has confirmed that Hélio Castroneves will switch to sportscar competition in 2018, bringing down the curtain on his full-time IndyCar career, though is poised to run at next year's Indianapolis 500.Castroneves stepped up to CART in 1998 and two years later moved across to Penske, before joining IndyCar full-time with the outfit in 2002.Castroneves has taken three victories at the Indianapolis 500, along with three runner-up spots, and has finished second in the IndyCar championship on four occasions.Castroneves' future in IndyCar remained uncertain after the conclusion of the 2017 campaign, but Penske has now confirmed that he will move across to its Acura Team Penske...
