Sebastien Bourdais to make IndyCar return at Gateway
Dale Coyne Racing driver Sebastien Bourdais will make his IndyCar return this weekend at Gateway, and will also drive at the final two road course races. It will be his first time back racing in IndyCar since his huge crash during Indianapolis 500 qualifying, where he suffered pelvic and hip fractures. Bourdais has recovered faster than expected and this meant he was able to complete a recent test at Mid-Ohio, and was recently given the all-clear to get back to racing. He was targeting a return for the Sonoma finale, but this has been brought forward to Gateway and he will continue for the last two rounds.
