Bourdais returns to test action after crash
– Sébastien Bourdais has returned to IndyCar action after he completed testing at Mid-Ohio on Monday, just 72 days after his high-speed crash during qualifying for the Indianapolis 500.Bourdais was the quickest driver on track in qualifying but lost control of his Dale Coyne-run machine through Turn 2 and slammed almost head-on into the wall.The impact destroyed the bulk of the right-hand-side of Bourdais' car, which then half flipped, and he was diagnosed with multiple fractures to his pelvis and a fractured right hip.Bourdais was put out of action following the ferocious crash but on Monday he returned to the cockpit of the No. 18 car, the day after the series' race at the road...
