Newgarden cruises to Mid-Ohio victory

– Josef Newgarden won his second straight race in the Verizon IndyCar Series on Sunday, easily fending off Will Power by over five seconds at Mid-Ohio. The win gives Newgarden a seven-point lead over Hélio Castroneves in the championship with four races to go. Former leader Scott Dixon fell to third after a ninth-place finish.Team Penske captured three of the top four spots on the day with Power as the runner-up and Simon Pagenaud in fourth.
