Castroneves reflects on IndyCar pole No. 50
It's pretty heady stuff. He broke out of a tie with Bobby Unser and now he only trails Mario Andretti and A.J. Foyt. And after Helio Castroneves snared the 50th pole position of his career on Saturday at Road America, he was understandably excited with his historical achievement. "To be mentioned in the same sentence as Bobby, Mario and A.J., it's just so amazing," said Castroneves after pipping Will Power by six-hundredths of a second in a Team Penske show of strength that saw Josef Newgarden and Simon Pagenaud grab the third and fourth spots.
