Peerless Rahal completes double in Detroit

– Graham Rahal completed the double as he surged from third to first around the streets of Belle Isle on Sunday, becoming the first repeat winner of the 2017 campaign.Rahal, who dominated the opening race from pole position, started third and moved up to second with a bold move on Ryan Hunter-Reay around the outside of Turn 7.Rahal remained within reach of leader Takuma Sato, who had converted pole position, and jumped the Andretti driver by staying out a lap longer before making his first stop.Josef Newgarden, who started only 13th, moved into the lead of the race, running a three-stop strategy, as opposed to the two-stopper employed behind Rahal.Newgarden put in some rapid laps to...
