Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti robbed at gunpoint at Taco Bell after Indy 500 qualifying
Indianapolis 500 pole sitter Scott Dixon and fellow IndyCar driver Dario Franchitti were both robbed at gunpoint on Sunday during a visit to a Taco Bell. The pair left the circuit following the conclusion of qualifying and headed to an Italian restaurant for dinner. However upon arrival, the restaurant had closed for the night, forcing the pair to eat at Taco Bell were they were held at gunpoint whilst in the drive-thru. 'It was definitely shocking, disbelief for the most part,' Dixon told AP, who just four hours earlier had secured pole for the 101st running of the Indy 500.
