Alonso fights suspension issue at Indy

– Fernando Alonso finished P19 on the first day of practice for the 101st Indianapolis 500 on Monday, but a suspected rear suspension issue limited his running to just 20 laps. The Spaniard had flown directly to Indianapolis after yesterday's Spanish Grand Prix to practice with 31 other drivers at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.Today marked the second time Alonso had ever driven on an oval after his private test at IMS on May 3. The two-time Formula 1 World Drivers Champion had completed his Rookie Orientation Programme in just 57 minutes, so today he was free to run whichever preparatory programme he wished.Alonso ran 20 laps in an all-day session that included ten yellow flag...
