Newgarden wins after Power's puncture

– Josef Newgarden won for the first time as a Penske driver, holding off Scott Dixon at the Grand Prix of Alabama after race leader Will Power suffered a punctured tyre with 15 laps to go.Power had controlled proceedings at Barber Motorsports Park but his Penske team detected that he was suffering from a slow left rear puncture and instructed their driver to pit immediately.Power argued over the radio saying the car was handling fine despite tyre pressure dropping to 12 PSI, but a lap later, the performance had deteriorated, and he was forced to come in.The Australian's pit stop demoted him towards the back of the field, and elevated team-mate Newgarden into the lead of the...
