F1 drivers mixed about Alonso's 500 move
Formula 1 drivers have been reacting to the news of Fernando Alonso skipping the Monaco Grand Prix to race in this year's Indy 500. Alonso's entry was announced on Wednesday, with the double world champion driving a car run as part of a partnership between Andretti Autosport, McLaren and Honda. During media day at the Bahrain Grand Prix, many drivers were asked for their thoughts on the news, with Nico Hulkenberg – who won the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours for Porsche – saying he wouldn't have prioritized another race over F1.
