Hampson, Coyne relish St. Petersburg upset

Craig Hampson sat slumped on the pit wall after his old friend Sebastien Bourdais crossed the finish line to complete an incredible last-to-first drive for Dale Coyne Racing. The peerless engineer, reunited with the Frenchman after demolishing the Champ Car series with four consecutive titles from 2004-'07, tried to gather his emotions as the team celebrated around him. Bourdais' father Patrick and a group of family friends cheered and saluted Sebastien in French; engineers and mechanics from the sister DCR entry driven by Ed Jones ran down to congratulate their teammates, and amid the frenzy, Hampson stood up, returned to the timing stand, and let the accomplishment soak in before...
