Sage Karam confirmed for Indy 500 return with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing
Dreyer & Reinbold Racing has confirmed that Sage Karam will once again drive its single-car entry for the Indianapolis 500 in 2017. Karam, 21, won the Indy Lights title back in 2013 before making his first Indy 500 appearance with Dreyer & Reinbold the following year. Karam featured for Chip Ganassi Racing at all but four races in 2015, but lost his seat to Max Chilton for 2016. A one-off appearance for Dreyer & Reinbold followed at the 500, with Karam rising as high as fourth before contact sent him out of the race on lap 92.
